Kickin' Off the Playoffs
The girls soccer team had a sluggish start to the season. The Hawks went 0-5 in their first 5 games. They gained their rhythm again against Laurel School (9/10) with a 7-0 shutout. Freshman Carmen Cicerini ended with a hat trick (3 goals) along with Junior Lindy Bobrow’s 2 goals and 2 assists. The win streak was continued into Thursday (9/12) where the Hawks beat the Orange Lions 2-0. Carmen Cicerini ended with goal along with Sophomore Frances Connor, who also scored a goal. Make sure to cheer on the team at their away game this Monday (9/16) against Padua Franciscan High School. We hope that they can continue their win streak!
